Dora's Christmas Carol Review

Posted by Suzie Ford on Dec 21st, 2010 / 0 Comments

In his latest review for Game On Mac, Bobby Travis (and child) take a look at Dora's Christmas Carol for iOS devices. The game is narrated by Dora the Explorer herself and takes kids on a magical journey back in time to Santa's workshop. The goal is to get Swiper the Fox off of the naughty list. Find out if it's as engaging as it sounds in Bobby's review.

The story of Dora's Christmas Carol Adventure follows the plot of the special, but in condensed form. The consummate kleptomaniac, Swiper has swiped his way on to Santa's Naughty List, due to his years of ignoring warnings about swiping on Christmas -- the rest of of the year is, of course, not important by comparison. Dora can't bear to see poor Swiper go without, and so she helps Swiper complete a quest to learn the spirit of Christmas. For each lesson learned, he will gain an new ornament (one of four in the game) on a magic Christmas card. Once all ornaments are earned, Swiper will understand that Christmas is about giving, not taking -- and hopefully your kid will, as well -- and will be reinstated on the coveted Nice List.
