Highborn Lite Announced
Posted by Suzie Ford on Oct 15th, 2010 / 0 CommentsJet Set Games has announced the release of Highborn Lite for iPhone and iPod Touch as well as Highborn HD Lite for iPad. Highborn is a terrific real-time strategy game with a snarky, funny story to go with it!
In Highborn, players are treated to two strategy games that combine to offer an intelligent, tactical experience without the frenetic play of a traditional RTS. Players move forces around an overhead map to secure spells and combat support, then dive into 3D combat to deploy those advantages against an unsuspecting enemy. All the fun and fighting is set against an irreverent tale, filled with wacky heroes, witty dialogue and wild assumptions.
Highborn is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch for $.99, and Highborn HD is available for the iPad for $2.99. Jet Set Games is currently working on Highborn Chapter 2 for both the iPhone and iPad, and plans to release the new content via an in-app purchase this fall.

JetSet Games Updates Highborn
Posted by Suzie Ford on Jul 28th, 2010 / 0 CommentsJetSet Games has announced that its flagship RTS title, Highborn, has been updated to version 1.1. Included in the iPhone/iPod Touch patch are several fixes and the inclusion of Open Feint for multiplayer action.
Here are the goods:
- Multiplayer gaming now exclusively through OpenFeint’s 30-million-person community, and as part of this:
- Removed Facebook multiplayer NOTE: Due to server side changes, all in-progress Facebook multiplayer games will be deleted with this update.
- Added achievements – more than 20 single-player and multiplayer achievements to unlock
- Player to player chat
- Significantly improved mission loading times. Seriously, maps load way faster now.
- Enhanced map mode performance
- Various bug fixes

Highborn Updated for iOS 4

In addition to the upgrade for iPad, JetSet has put Highborn on sale for only 99¢ throughout the 4th of July weekend.
Go get it, folks. I'm no RTS fan but I LOVED Highborn!
